Shane’s Rock Challenge: DESTROY SHE SAID – 2013 – No Church CD single

Two songs can sometimes pack all the punch of most bands’ complete albums, as evidenced by the thunderous growl of Melbourne’s Destroy She Said as they rail like a rabid AC/DC at god botherers and religious door knockers on the mighty No Church.
Equally thumping and thunder(struck)ous is the exclusive non-album track Tourette’s. Far from expletive-free, it’s still a long way from vulgarity for it’s own sake – further proof than DSS refrain from simply doing the obvious, preferring to blaze a fiercely individual path through the rock n’ roll morass.
If the F-ing and blindin’ of Tourette’s is too much for you or your Mum, you can always skip it and go to the instrumental/karaoke version (used as the theme for the Melbourne-based YouTube Channel 31 The Hard Rock Show), or the Bottom End Fat Arse Mix of the track, which strips the guitars right back and turns the rhythm section right up. It’ll make your stomach dance, trust me.
One of the hottest bands in this country – or any other – Destroy She Said’s second album is eagerly awaited.
