NEW VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK OF RAVEN’S FORTHCOMING METAL CITY ALBUM

Famed as being one of the originators of speed metal, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal stalwarts and heavy metal legends, RAVEN are back with a new album, to be released on SPV/Steamhammer on 18th September.

METAL CITY is a homage to the Gallagher brothers’ roots in northern England, a little place called Newcastle upon Tyne where they were raised.

Now based in America and now boasting U.S. native Mike Heller on the drums, singer/bass player John and guitarist Mark Gallagher have never forgotten their home, family or friends.

“Newcastle upon Tyne has been referred to as Metal City for good reason,” John explains. “We come from there for a start. But it’s about a mindset, the people there have a tenacity and an ability to go beyond the limits to get to where they are going.”
