NORAH JONES RESCHEDULES PERTH SHOW + ACADEMY AWARDS PERFORMANCE ANNOUNCED

Norah Jones continues to build on a successful year with a distinguished invitation to perform the Oscar-nominated song, Everybody Needs A Best Friend, at the 85th instalment of the Academy Awards taking place next month in Los Angeles, CA. Accordingly, Norah’s upcoming sold out performance at Perth’s Riverside Theatre has been brought forward from Sunday 24th February to Wednesday 13th February.

In a personal statement, Norah explains:

“When my friend Seth Macfarlane invited me to perform the theme song from his movie TED at the Academy Awards (which he is hosting), I couldn’t say no! I had a great time recording this song with Seth, and was thrilled to learn that the song was nominated for an Oscar. Getting to perform it at such a prestigious event that my friend is hosting is a once in a lifetime opportunity. In order to pull it off, I had to move my upcoming show at the Riverside Theater in Perth to February 13th. I sincerely hope that everyone coming to the show will understand the rescheduling and still be able to come a little earlier than anticipated. Many apologies for any inconvenience this causes you. I am very excited to come play for you!”

All tickets purchased to the Sunday 24th February show will be valid for the rescheduled Wednesday 13th February show. Current ticketholders will not need to purchase new tickets to gain entry.

If you are unable to attend the event on this new date, you may secure a full refund. For those patrons seeking a refund, all tickets must be received by Ticketek no later than Monday 11th February 2013.

AGENCY/OUTLET SALES: Patrons who purchased tickets at an agency/outlet are required to return their tickets to Crown Perth, Regal Theatre or Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre agencies.

WEB/PHONE SALES: Patrons who purchased tickets through the Ticketek Call Centre or website are required to return their tickets by Monday 11th February to:
