To an extremely energetic crowd LP hit the stage in full force at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN in support of their most recent album Love Lines. The evening was an absolute fun filled event. Everybody in attendance was singing and enjoying their performance. They jumped straight into the new album playing 3 songs before jumping into “Girls Go Wild” from their album Heart to Mouth. The majority of the show was the new release with a few extra old standards and crowd favorites sprinkled in for good measure. Great energy was felt on stage and from the crowd. The band was absolutely energized and grateful to be there and play for such a highly enthused crowd. The new album songs were definitely prepared and thoroughly performed with enthusiasm and precision on stage. Lots of airy ambient interludes and well timed instrumental interludes the pace of the show was slow but packed with lots of high points and numbers. Stage setup and lighting were exceptionally on point with the mood and vibe of the evening. Their set only lasted around an hour and a half but how they stacked the evening with new and old songs it honestly was perfect. When the band came back to perform their encore everyone in the crowd erupted in cheers as soon as “Hola,” “When We’re High,” and “One Last Time” were played; everyone on the floor just started moving and dancing to a pace that was part of the overall highly enjoyable evening.  The reactions and attitudes of everyone leaving the show afterwards were excited and happy. There was not a sad face in the crowd except that the show was over. This is a band that is highly recommended to catch live even if you aren’t that familiar with their music. If you have never caught an LP performance. They are simply a show to see. This was my second LP show and they have never failed to outperform.
