A smaller but highly energized crowd of fans of Skinny Puppy and Nivek Ogre’s solo project ohGr gathered at the upstairs venue on Cannery Row in Nashville, TN on September 8th 2018 to see ohGr perform what always is a brilliant performance. The show opened with a half set from a very captivating musician by the name of Omniflux. Performing in almost complete darkness with animated illustrations of her own artwork projected behind her; she was a wonderful start to an evening at Mercy Lounge. Once she finished performing the next act onto the stage was Paul Barker of Ministry’s solo project Lead Into Gold. Performing in a similar almost dark atmosphere with video displays playing behind him as well as Omniflux joining him on the stage on additional guitar helped to get the small but excited crowd ready for the main performance of the evening. The room cheered loudly as soon as the members of ohGr stepped onto the stage and prepared for a mighty performance from them. Playing tracks from all of their previous albums as well as numbers from the newest album Tricks. They did not disappoint.
