AM CLEAN SOUND LAUNCHES UPDATED 1970’s VINYL CLEANING RANGE
Copenhagen-based heritage brand updates its iconic range of cleaning products for vinyl and analogue gear as it targets a new generation of vinyl fans. See the whole range at cleansound.com.au.
AM has updated and relaunched its classic range of vinyl cleaning products. Inspired by the recent boom in sales of vinyl and turntables, the Danish brand, which has delivered ‘clean sound since 1971’, has updated and relaunched its original record and stylus cleaners, vinyl brush and anti-static mat, as it aims to show a new generation of vinyl fans how to look after their records. Also included in the relaunch is a cassette cleaner, tapehead cleaner, pick up brush, record weight and gear wipes, all designed to take the best care of analogue equipment. The range is available in good record shops and cleansound.com.au.
A new generation is discovering the magic of vinyl. According to Deloitte, global sales are predicted to surpass $1bn USD (€940m) this year, with sales of turntables rocketing in similar fashion. Although many love the warm sound of vinyl, the art of taking care of it properly has been lost. AM aims to change this, educating new enthusiasts how to use its safe and non-abrasive cleaning solutions to enjoy static-free playback, reduced wear and prolonged life of records and cassettes.
AM has revived its original design concept from the ‘70’s bringing clean lines and minimal Danish styling to the field of vinyl cleaning. The AM range will sit comfortably alongside any record player, as a functional but design-led accessory.
AM has always delivered quality products and standards remain high. The record cleaner is unaltered since 1971, specially formulated, safe and efficient. The vinyl brush is made from real carbon fibres to eliminate static and remove the dust and fine particles that can degrade sound. The stylus cleaner removes dust and particles from the stylus tip that can damage records and the stylus, as well as affect tonal accuracy. The anti-static record mat is made with carbon fibre, unlike others on the market which make similar claims. Years of experience, quality and care run through the entire design ethos of the AM range.
The relaunch design sees products available individually, but also in a record cleaning box set, which includes the 200ml record cleaner, anti-static brush, stylus cleaner, pick-up brush and anti-static cloths.
As the unwavering vinyl revival continues, so AM continues on its mission to deliver nothing but high quality audio and clean sound.
