Just like their cover image suggests, Watts are a Boston four-pieced gravel-throated, ripped amp, punk attitude, juvenile delinquent rap sheet, sweat-dripping-from-the-ceiling bunch channelling their own brand of Pistols-Dolls-Keef-Thunders-Accadacca take no shit, no fucks given, rock n’ fucking roll.
This jagged edged group is the real deal, that dirty black heart of rock n’ roll beating strong through songs which reduce rock to its basest, most enjoyable elements.
Strut (Like A Champ) could be their mission statement, while Up All Night, Fast & Loose, The B-Side and Bring On The Lights all stand testament to what they do, why they do it, and why it is so imperative that we’re listening.
