Butcher Babies brought their thrash metal show to Knoxville in support of their current release Take it Like a Man. The band from LA consists of front women Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey, guitarist Henry Flury, bassist Jason Klein, and drummer Chris Warner. The smaller venue was the perfect opportunity to truly experience the group. Everyone pushed right up to the stage. Heidi and Carla reached out into the crowd and offered their mics to fans to sing along. The crowd was diverse from young to middle aged and everyone was really into the show. Mid show fans formed a circle around slam dancers. Heidi and Carla were in high gear all night, hair flying, and making contact with the entire stagefront. Don’t be fooled by their pretty faces, the girls really bring it. They were supported by some really talented musicians on guitars and drums. Together they put on a kick ass hard rock show.
