Filthy Apes to launch new single & video this month
Filthy Apes formed in secret in WA in mid-2013 and live up to their name blurring the line between grunge and psychedelia, wearing ape heads and throwing out energetic sets (as well as bananas).

The apes released there debut EP ‘Indigovidual’ in April 2015 to great reviews round the country. Produced by Mitch McDonald (of The Love Junkies) its a fuzzy, wah-wah filled EP with addictive riffs and is great introduction to another talented Perth act. The singles ‘Colour Cafe’ and ‘Dr. Zulu’ have already been receiving generous airplay on community radio stations RTRFM, Triple R and 4ZZZ.

They have played solid support shows of local acts such as The Love Junkies and Red Jezebel to name a few and are releasing a new single ‘Reservoir Dogs’ on the 29th of August before a second EP in December 2015.
