WAM Kiss My Camera Exhibition

Presented every year by the Western Australian Museum and West Australian Music as part of the WAM Festival, Kiss My Camera is a music photography competition that showcases the exciting and dynamic work of WA’s music photography community. Demonstrating a distinct WA flavour, all images feature either a WA or touring artist in a WA venue or location.
Culminating in an exhibition of 50 images at the Western Australian Museum – Perth, this year’s finalists will be vying for the “Best Live Image” or “Best Portrait” prizes, where the winners will take home a $500 cash prize recently raised by a successful WAM crowdfunding campaign and a vintage Polaroid goodie bag courtesy of sponsor Pigeonhole Presents The Impossible Project.
The images selected for this year’s exhibition showcase an amazing snapshot of WA’s constantly evolving music scene and highlight the vital role music photographers play in promoting original WA music.
