AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE, Side Project Of As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis, Launches Indiegogo.com Campaign For Third Album

February 21, 2013  — As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis has launched an Indiegogo.com campaign to crowdfund the third album by his Austrian Death Machine side project.

Says Lambesis: “Crowdfunding is a direct connection to fans and a way to offer unique things such as getting your name tattooed on my butt.  If I raise more money than I need to do a quality recording, then I promise to do an Austrian Death Machine tour.  I want us all to unite in the name of the pump.”

Indiegogo.com has been used by artists as varied as OneRepublic, Protest The Hero, Conditions and George Clinton, and it’s fast becoming the go-to website for musicians wanting to raise funds for any number of projects.  Indiegogo.com is an open platform and therefore does not curate which artists can launch projects.  It also offers flexible funding so artists can opt to keep the funds they raise even if they don’t hit their goal.
