Watch Eve 6’s music video for “Curtain”
Eve 6 has premiered the music video for single “Curtain”, taken from fourth album Speak In Code, available digitally on iTunes.
Directed by Patrick Meier (Walk The Moon), the video was filmed in one-take, requiring lead singer Max Collins to perform the entire song backwards.

“When Patrick Meier and Chaske Haverkos brought this concept to us, we had doubts about whether or not it would be possible to pull off,” describes lead singer Max Collins. “Learning such a wordy song backwards presented the first challenge. I started by writing the backwards sounds out phonetically (it sounded like an alien language) and slowly began the process of memorization. It’s a single shot video so there really wasn’t much room for error. My prevailing thought on production day was “Oh my God, there’s so much that could go wrong!” When we completed the first take, it was such a thrill.” Check out the making of the “Curtain” music video.
The Southern California trio are giving fans the chance to win props used in the actual video, an iPod Nano, and other great prizes by sharing the video with their social networks. More details about this contest can be found at: eve6curtain.fearlessrecords.com
EVE 6 – Max Collins (lead vocals, bass), Jon Siebels (guitar, backing vocals), Tony Fagenson (drums) – first burst onto the scene in the late 90’s signing their first record deal as a group of high schoolers. Since their debut, Eve 6, revered for their brand of clever and high energy tunes, has sold over three million albums in North America. Their breakout self-titled album went platinum with lead single “Inside Out” hitting #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks list with “Leech” and “Think Twice” registering in the Top 10. Their nostalgic anthem “Here’s To The Night” from their follow-up albumHoroscope broke the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 with album-mate “Promise” cracking the Top 10. New release Speak In Code features the same stuck-in-your-head melodies that the band has become known for, receiving press from Billboard Magazine, American Songwriter, MTV, VH1, AOL Music, Last.fm, Music Choice, and more. As the fourth full-length release for Eve 6, the album heralds not just a return to form for the threesome, but a new chapter in their book that continues to capture fans worldwide.
