Royal Thunder Join Monster Magnet for East Coast Dates

Nov. 12, 2012, Philadelphia — Royal Thunder, who are currently on tour with Corrosion of Conformity and ASG, will join Monster Magnet for a pair of mid-December dates: Dec. 14 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn and Dec. 16 at The Trocadero in Philadelphia.

The female-fronted Atlanta quartet released their debut album, CVI, in the Spring via Relapse Records.  Spin described the release as a “stunning breakthrough,” Revolver called the album “essential” and Decibel Magazine placed singer Mlny Parsonz on the cover of their inaugural women in metal issue.

Royal Thunder are currently working on a video for  “Blue,” with a premiere to come in the next few weeks.

Spending the bulk of the year on the road, the band has toured with Black Tusk, Baroness, Pallbearer, Valient Thorr and the aforementioned Corrosion of Conformity.  Royal Thunder have also done their own headlining dates around the United States with their next solo date on Dec. 17 at The Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C.
