Austin Mahone Taylor Swift Announcement Release

November 6, 2012 (New York, NY) – Austin Mahone announced today that he will join Taylor Swift  for six shows of her highly anticipated The RED Tour next year.

“I still can’t believe I’m opening for Taylor! I’m so appreciative and excited for this opportunity. Getting to play in stadiums, and it’s with one of the biggest artists in the world! I can’t wait!” said Austin Mahone.

With well over 90 million YouTube views (and almost 500,000 YouTube subscribers), 1.4 million Facebook fans and more than 1.2 million Twitter followers, Austin’s fanbase is strong and growing every day.  Fans known as “Mahomies,” have consistently supported the pop sensation in force.

Mahone’s new single, “Say Somethin” is currently lighting up at radio, being a top 5 call-in on all major market stations!

The 16-year-old gained his legion of Mahomies when he started posting his homemade covers of pop songs online in 2010.  In the past few months he has signed a record deal with Chase Records, sold out NYC’s Best Buy Theater and LA’s Palladium Theater in just minutes and appeared on several national television shows, including Live! With Kelly & Michael to promote his single, “Say Somethin,” and the teen phenom shows no signs of slowing down!
