The Summer Set releases new single “Fuck U Over”

The Summer Set is excited to release new song “Fuck U Over”, now available digitally on iTunes.

“Hey guys! This is Fuck U Over, the first song from our yet to be titled 3rd album, coming out this spring!” Lead singer Brian Dales explains, “This song is my sarcastic apology to all the girls in my life. A boy can dream about wanting to be Barney Stinson, right? Sometimes guys just wanna have fun too. I hope you enjoy!”

Currently, the Scottsdale, AZ quintet can be found touring North America with All Time LowThe Downtown Fiction, and Hit The Lights. No strangers to the stage, The Summer Set have toured with the likes of Plain White T’sWe The KingsThe Cab, and Cartel. This fall has been no different as the band has recently wrapped up their South American and UK dates with Mayday Parade.

THE SUMMER SET – Composed of Brian Dales (Vocals), John Gomez (Guitar, Piano, Back up vocals), Josh Montgomery (Guitar), Stephen Gomez (Bass), and Jess Bowen (Drums), the Scottsdale, AZ pop rock ensemble have quickly become a phenomenon throughout the independent music scene. Formed by brothers John and Stephen Gomez, and Jess Bowen as teenagers, the band released their first full-length Love Like This (Razor & Tie) in 2009, and sophomore album Everything’s Fine (Razor & Tie) in 2011. The Summer Set have honed their irresistible brand of rosy pop punk through major television syncs on “Dancing With The Stars”, MTV’s “Jersey Shore”, “10 on Top”, and “Hard Times of RJ Berger.” The band is currently in the studio working on a new album, expected in early 2013 on Fearless Records.
