GOLD FIELDS TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE “DARK AGAIN” ON OCT 9th + CMJ SHOWS AND TOUR DATES SUPPORTING DIAMOND RINGS

(New York, NY – Oct 3rd, 2012) – On October 9^th, Australia’s Gold Fields will release a brand new single entitled “Dark Again,” which is already receiving early airplay around the country.  Taken from their forthcoming debut album entitled Black Sun, due for release in January 2013, the band will celebrate the release of the single with U.S. tour dates as special guests of Canadian glam-pop artist Diamond Rings plus performances at Filter’s Culture Collide Festival in LA, CMJ in NYC and Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin (details below).  “Dark Again” just premiered on RollingStone.com.

Declared by The Huffington Post as “…one of the most impressive bands you will ever experience,” Gold Fields released their self-titled debut EP in March of this year on Astralwerks, followed by an official video for their infectious, song of the summer “Treehouse.”

The quintet- which includes Mark Robert Fuller (vocals), Vin Andanar (guitar/vocals), Rob Clifton (keys/percussion), Ryan D’Sylva (drums) and Luke Peldys (bass) played to excited crowds at this year’s SXSW festival and shows in New York and Los Angeles.
