NEW DETAILS EMERGE REGARDING THIS YEAR’S GWAR-B-Q, THE SPEW-O-LYMPICS, AND MUCH MORE

Slave Pit Inc., creators of GWAR and a slew of other naughty products, today announced new details regarding the summer’s most eagerly anticipated entertainment apocalypse, the 4th annual GWAR-B-Q, to be held August 17^th at Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, Va. Attendees can now add not one but TWO new social events to be held the same weekend as the GWAR-B-Q – the “B4-B-Q” (to be held the night before at The Canal Club), and the “GWA-fter Party” (after the GWAR-B-Q, for those of you who are morons). In addition, the directors of GWAR’s coveted “Spew-O-Lympics”, a centerpiece event of every GWAR-B-Q, released a statement regarding this year’s event and the incredible prize package some lucky Spew-lympian will ultimately attain. A full feast of fun awaits the teeming masses as Richmond prepares for the most action-packed weekend in the glorious history of the GWAR-B-Q!

On Friday, Aug.16^th, the festivities begin with the “B4-B-Q”, a power-packed line-up of brutal bands to be held at Richmond’s venerated Canal Club, which for the last two years has hosted the Cory Smoot Memorial Show. Admission is FREE to any GWAR-B-Q ticket holder, so be sure to bring a copy of your ticket, or a receipt, or the actual ticket (if you are an idiot). Hosted by the personal Slaves of Oderus and Balsac, Dave Brockie and Mike Derks, doors open at 7 and the line-up consists of, in no particular order:

With acts like GWAR, Municipal Waste, Corrosion of Conformity, Pig Destroyer, and the re-union of the legendary X-Cops, this years’ bill is possibly the greatest yet assembled in the blood-spattered history of GWAR‘s ever-expanding festival. So this year’s Spew-O-Lympics intends to match this majesty with the most epic contest yet conceived, with events scheduled to include the “King of the Swing”, “Beware of the Blob”, with the climactic battle for supremacy (and valuable prizes) waged on the  “Sperm and Slide”. This years contest will be limited to a lucky 25 entrants, who must sign-up in advance via GWAR’s Facebook page. Look for more details on the official GWAR Facebook page .

And if that’s not enough filthy fun for you, the fine folks at Slave Pit have scheduled one last event that should satiate even the most unappeasable bohab’s desire to bask in the dubious glory of all things GWAR–the “GWA-fter Party”. Held on Saturday, August 17^th at Balliceaux, in Richmond, VA., and hosted by the internationally matchless D.J.Pari, the event is free not only toGWAR-B-Q ticket holders but also everybody else in the entire world.
