Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter—better known as Phantogram—brought their electro-pop magic to a sold-out crowd at the Fillmore on Wednesday night. It’s been nearly 20 years since they teamed up in upstate New York, and they’ve produced five studio albums and one EP along the way. Their newest release, the Deluxe Edition of Memory of a Day dropped October 2025, with three fresh tracks, including fun collaborations with Big Boi and Whethan. Rapper and producer Killskywalker warmed things up as the crowd packed in. Phantogram followed with a cool, dimly lit set where the lighting perfectly matched their moody, bass-heavy vibe, pulsing with the beats for a cozy, cinematic feel. Their live show blended sleek electronic sounds with raw rock energy—Sarah Barthel’s vocals floated with beautiful clarity, while Josh Carter’s keyboard added nice texture and depth. Everyone danced along to favorites like “When I’m Small” and “Black Out Days,” and the new songs showed off a tighter, more confident energy. All in all, it was a lively, exciting performance that mixed danceable grooves with heartfelt intensity.
