Highly acclaimed American songwriter Joan As Police Woman (Joan Wasser) returns to Australia following the success of her 2022 Australian tour, performing key songs from her vast and rich career alongside music from her new album Lemons, Limes, and Orchids.

 

Wasser is a multi-instrumentalist and singer, influenced by New York’s vibrant art scene. Her music blends soul, classical and indie music and she has collaborated with a range of talented and highly respected artists including Anohni, Tony Allen and Rufus Wainwright.

 

Her twelfth studio album, Lemons, Limes, and Orchids is a crowning showcase of Joan’s artistry in all its metamorphic splendour. The new album is a nocturne about love and loss, and sees Joan venture deeper into her jazz influences with further affectations associated with electronic and ambient music.
