AH TREES – NEW SINGLE & WA TOUR

“With a love for twanged guitar chords and echo pedals, these Perth boys have made their claim” – Pilerats

“Bringing about pop-antics reminiscent of 90s art-house, the reverbed vocals of lead singer Ryan Adair really characterised the music that the band skillfully laid in front of the punters” – The Music

Perth’s Ah Trees are set to release the follow up to their debut EP with new track ‘Do It All Wrong’, as well as a tour of their home state in celebration of the new single this October.

The single is the first take from the band’s upcoming sophomore release and sees them bring in friends and fellow artists with Sydney’s Moody Beach on guest vocals and Cameron Parkin (Miami Horror, Lastlings, ATLA) on production. ‘Do It All Wrong’ is more of a dance number than a funeral waltz – it’s a last call for drinks before we embark into the great unknown together. The arrangement features emotive keys and haunting 80s synths, making way for bright chorus-laden guitars and a tight disco-inspired rhythm section. Vocalist Ryan Adair’s melodic and lyrical fervour explores the generational anxiety that comes from an era filled with bad news, morally bankrupt decisions and the ever-present uncertainty of our collective future…
