The Paramore in North America Tour came to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on a pleasant Monday night. The tour supports their sixth studio release This Is Why. The arena was packed by with screaming fans as the lights dimmed. They opened with “You First” as confetti filled the air throughout the venue. Lead singer Hayley Williams was simply mesmerizing. Her vocals were incredible and equaled only by her stage presence. Jumps, twirls, hair flips, kicks were part of every song as she glided from side to side across the stage. Throughout the set, songs from Hayley Williams’ solo work and Zac Farro’s band, Half-Noise were combined with Paramore favorites. Pyro lit up the stage for a few songs to add to the visual spectacle. They brought a fan on stage to sing along during “Misery Business.” They ended the evening with their current hit “This Is Why.” The crowd loved the set and Hayley was talk of the town for her electric performance.
