Review and Photographs by: Jeffrey Everett (

This was my second Lindsey Stirling concert and I was anxious to see what her Artemis tour had in store for her fans. Artemis was released in the Fall of 2019 and a 2020 tour was scheduled. Covid derailed those plans and she is now hitting the road as venues have opened back up. She was the only act of the evening and things got started around 8:30 on a sweltering August night. There was a diverse crowd, including many families with children who were some of the loudest supporters. In honor of Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, her violin sported the shape of an archery bow and she and her supporting dancers were dressed to match. Their choreography was flawless. It was like a Broadway production. She and her dancers changed outfits for almost song. Lindsey talked to crowd frequently, happy to be in front of people instead of streaming from her living room. She spoke often of positivity and embracing our differences. She encouraged us to pursue our dreams. Her example was how she turned the dream of playing an electronic violin in dub step while dancing into a reality. The performance included being hoisted by cables to the top of the stage, playing upside down while suspended and her trademark ballet like dancing all the while playing her violin without missing a beat. Her stage production, engagement with the audience and unbelievable violin and dancing mix make her shows something to behold. I would highly recommend her concert to music fans of all tastes.
