OUR LAST ENEMY announce The Night They Came Home Tour

Sydney’s heavy rockers, Our Last Enemy are back! After an extended hiatus they are at full force with new members, new music and a new tour!

After spending 2016 locked up in their home studios working on new material for the follow up to 2011’s Fallen Empires (#1 iTunes Metal Charts Australia) for their US label Eclipse Records, Our Last Enemy are playing a handful of shows before hitting the studio to record the finished product!

The band are proud to announce Frankie Macri (The Chaotic Borderline, As Angels Bleed) as their new permanent drummer following the departure of long time heavy hitter Zot. The band comment that Frankie’s ‘powerhouse drumming, drive and commitment will take us to the next level.’ while Frankie says ‘I am very lucky, and thankful to be in Our Last Enemy. Since the first time I heard the band – I was a fan, and said to myself that I wanna play in this band one day!’

Also, joining the band on their upcoming shows will be Wade Norris (Face Of Mutiny, Candypain) filling in on guitar for Bryce ‘Bizz’ Bernius who takes some time off for family reasons.

Our Last Enemy have partnered with influential horror novel publisher Cemetery Dance Publications, home to legendary writers such as Stephen King, Clive Barker, Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury, William Peter Blatty etc to give aways free copies of the new book from applauded author Michael Aronovitz, titled Alice Walks which has been heralded as ‘the most frightening E-Book of the decade’

The giveaway is open to people who buy pre sale tickets to OLE’s Brisbane and Sydney shows, where 10 winners from each show will be drawn at random to win!

All shows on the tour have a Halloween theme and will have a ‘best dressed’ prize also so wear your best Halloween attire!

To celebrate their re-emergence, Our Last Enemy recently recorded a cover of The Prodigy’s Spitfire and are giving it to their fans FOR FREE as a thank you for their patience. It’s been a long time coming for new OLE music!

The band chose the song as it’s been a fan favourite from their live set for some time and worked with renown European industrial artists Shiv-r to produce it and make it sound as huge as possible!

OLE have always had a heavy electronic presence in their music so mixing the two worlds of industrial dance and metal was a natural progression for the band who are always willing to push the envelope

Our Last Enemy’s new studio album will feature more electronic elements than ever before while retaining their crushing heaviness. With influences ranging from NIN, Combichrist and Rammstein to Faith No More, Pantera and Dimmu Borgir, the band aim to combine it all into one with an album they is truly unique while instantly familiar.
