The Bible Bashers ‘Rise Hard’ Tour

The Bible Bashers have been peddling their filthy brand of blues-infused rock’n’roll, on and off for almost 10 years. The band reunited this year to support The Damned, but one thing lead to another; next minute they were touring Melbourne and in the studio with some new tunes. It’s been a whirlwind year, but the end result is barnstormin’ new EP, titled ‘RISE HARD’. The Bashers FINALLY bring their show to Queensland and New South Wales this September, to promote the release of ‘RISE HARD’ and to party with QLD heart throbs, HITS.

They’re famous for delivering audacious, no-prisoners live performances, with comparisons made to THE CRAMPS, THE STRANGLERS, MC5, THE STOOGES & BEASTS OF BOURBON. Never ones to fall back on tired formula, they’ve spiced up their gigs by recruiting impromptu choirs and female backup dancers (The Bashettes) to join them on stage. They have even gone so far as to hand out their own currency (Bash Cash) and print their own ‘Prayer Book’, featuring Bashers lyrics, artwork, and comics. They have rubbed shoulders with acts like such as The Damned, Bog Log III, Fireballs, X, Six Ft Hick and The Stabs.

A mocumentary is currently in production titled “BIBLE BASHERS INCORPORATED: Pure Profits”. The tale of a band who franchises their gimmick to struggling rock n roll bands around the world.
