The electropop duo Sylvan Esso are out on tour in support of their sophomore album What Now. The group continues to gain momentum and has been selling out venues on the current tour. The Egyptian room was packed for their Saturday night show. Though the setup was simple with Nick Sanborn doing production and Amelia Meath on vocals, the end result was magnificent. They opened with “Sound” as Amelia got the crowd going. Like an aerobic instructor, she led the dance party. From front stage to the back of the room the crowd was swaying and dancing to the beat. A multicolored light show was synced to the sound added to the hypnotic mood. The evening ended with the pulsating tune “Radio.” If you enjoy a fun filled dance party, then Sylvan Esso is must see.
Setlist: Sound – Could I Be – Kick Jump Twist – Dress – Signal – Die Young – Song – Coffee – The Glow – Wolf – Just Dancing – Uncatena – Hey Mami – H.S.K.T. – Radio
