Like Neil Perry, our food at Voodoo To You is based on fresh produce, simple and complementary flavours, and putting a modern, interesting but subtle twist on ideas which have stood the test of time.
In his latest cookbook Neil Perry’s Good Cooking, the Rockpool boss delivers 110 recipes – most of them photographed with flair in mouthwatering colour.
Perry’s Turkish Bread Pockets with a lamb or fetta filling, Adobe-marinated Chicken Tacos, Sweet Potato Chilli & Lime Soup with Tortilla Crips, Italian Pork & Pea Ragu, Moussaka and Cauliflower Gratin may not be radically inventive, but his versions of them all are simply presented and easily recreated in the home kitchen, making this a very accessible tome for the home cook who might be impressed by what they’ve seen of Perry on TV, but aren’t necessarily confident enough to tackle his more cheffy books.
