Knoxville was graced with a show by hip-hop legends Cypress Hill who are out on their 25th anniversary tour. Considered one of the originators of west coast rap/hip-hop, the group has withstood the test of time and is still going strong. They are soon to release their latest album Elephants on Acid, the first since 2010. The evening got started with Nashville’s own Jelly Roll. He got the crowd warmed up and ready for the main act. The crowd packed the floor by the time the lights dimmed. B-Real got the show started and was joined by Sen Dog on their second song. The two traded rhymes the remainder of the show. Hands in the air, the crowd showed their support and appreciation of the hip-hop phenoms. Cypress Hill played all their classics and was clearly the best rap performances we have seen in Knoxville. True to form it was simply insane!
