What better way to indoctrinate youngsters into the magical world of Star Wars than through these delightful Story-Time Saga books, which each take a small part of their respective movies (Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back) and break them down into a format perfect for age three and up.
Star Wars was always considered to be a futuristic fairy tale, complete with evil lords (Darth Vader), a beautiful princess (Leia) and swashbuckling adventurers (Luke Skywalker and Han Solo), not to mention quirky magical creatures (Chewbacca, C3PO, R2D2, Yoda) and their stories certainly make more contemporary sense than, say, Rumpelstiltskin or similar.
The stories are obvious to any fan from the titles – each may only take up about ten minutes of screen time in the movies, but that is more than enough for a three, four, five year old to digest in one fantastical hit.
Complimented by lovingly painted illustrations every step of the way, these books are exactly what all the coolest Star Wars Mums & Dads will be reading to their little Jedi at bedtime and the perfect way to prime your youngster into being ready to watch the 6 – nearly 7 – movie saga a few years later.
