Remember that time Dinosaur Jr became a fuzzrock trio from Australia? Nah, of course that never happened – but if it did, this is probably what they’d sound like.
Through a wall of indie-rock guitars She’s The Driver explore a post-Cobain sonic landscape, singer/guitarist Sean’s half-whispered vocals full of introspection and angst.
There’s a low-fi dirge-like quality to the Inagadda (Certain Doubt), Teenage, Give Me Shelter, Lonely and Covered Up, which will undoubtedly appeal to students everywhere and whilst the older classic rock fans amongst us may not get them, She’s The Driver most likely won’t care one bit either way.
