Magic Bones - Danger I Am cover

A short, furious stab of pummelling garage punk is not what we expected from Magic Bones, whose previous releases showed more shades of indie, folk and soft rock, but they take to it with panache and their Saints-meets-The-Stooges rock is overlaid with all the elements we’ve come to expect from the Melbourne band..

What could have been a repetitive dirge in the hands of the less-accomplished, is heightened by an immediately catchy hook and the cute-but-never-saccharine vocals of bassist Kiri, making Danger I Am an instantly likeable taster for their next EP or album.
