Ovenizer - SWM cover

They do things differently in the icy north. Take Norwegian death dealers Overnizer as a case study: A doomy, growly power-trio proffer up a disturbing slab of brutal, ear-damaging metal that comes complete with the implication that lives may have been lost during it’s realisation.

Standout track Satan’s Washing Machine is as mad as that title suggests – as is the accompanying video clip. That skewed sense of humour shows up time and time again through these eight noisy tracks: Paddling In The Sky, Don’t Trust Me, I Know What I’m Doing. Psychedelics, perhaps – or a translation problem. Either way, it makes for entertaining listening.
