IRISH SOUL SINGER ANDREW STRONG RETURNS TO AUSTRALIA WITH THE COMMITMENTS TOUR
Irish soul / blues singer, Andrew Strong, has just revealed plans to return to Australia in May, before an extended hiatus to begin works on a new solo album and documentary, shining light on his travels and live performances around the world. After launching his career in 1991 via cult-classic film The Commitments – paired with the success of the international best-selling soundtrack – Strong has established himself as one of the world’s most endearing and entertaining front men, consistently selling out shows in the UK, Europe and Australia.
With the forthcoming tour being one of the last for an indefinite period, Strong plans to celebrate by performing all the major hits from the movie / soundtrack with his 8-piece band including Mustang Sally, Treat Her Right, Midnight Hour, Try A Little Tenderness, Take Me To The River and many more.
The tour comprising of 13 dates will commence in Adelaide, then continue to Wollongong, Newcastle and Sydney, then hitting Queensland spanning from Cairns to the Gold Coast with Perth & Melbourne to wrap up the tour.
