Sporting vampire chic and modelling themselves musically on the likes of Evanescence, As Angels Bleed deliver a debut album that sounds as epic as any of the European goth/symphonic metal bands you care to name.
Featuring the huge and emotive vocals and horror-writing of Avelina De Moray, As Angels Bleed have crafted a collection of suitably spooky tunes that could have leapt off the page of an Anne Rice thriller.
Sinfully Yours, I Drown and the symphonic touches of Lumiere all sstand out and if all the gothic melodrama gets a bit too much for you (De Moray can slip into Barbara Cartland-in-a-black-cape territory at times), rest assured that there’s plenty of heavy guitars and rock attitude to focus on instead.
