Have Yourselves A Messy Little Christmas
Have Yourselves A Messy Little Christmas
By Shane Pinnegar
100% ROCK MAGAZINE wish each and every one of our readers a most EXCELLENT festive season.
Thankyou sincerely for reading and sharing and liking our reviews, interviews and competitions throughout 2014 – as the shadow of 2015 looms large over us, we find ourselves having accrued almost FOUR MILLION web hits in just two-and-one-third years – two and a quarter million in this calendar year alone!!! – which is amazing! Thanks to you all!
This year in Perth, Western Australia, Shane welcomed on board a few new contributors of live reviews and photography – Kevin Curran & Stuart McKay, who joined reviewer/photographer Maree King, and we had a few articles from Shayne McGowan, Star Wiggam & Trulie Pinnegar as well.
Our new-this-year Book Editor Steph O’Connell (from Melbourne) has opened up a fantastic literary avenue for the magazine and got some great feedback from some great reviews, and she has enlisted another book reviewer – Aly – to the fold who’ll post her first review before the end of the year.
In The United States Toddstar has been doing great work as usual, Robert Kitay in California has pitched in with some great reviews, and we have a couple of occasional contributors to the table in the form of Jeffrey Everett (Tennessee) and Mike Hubbard (Michigan).
Thanks from Todd & Shane to all of these talented ladies & gents for the great work, and a reminder that everyone at 100% ROCK MAGAZINE has day jobs but puts in long, hard hours to bring you, the readers, as much content as we can manage. If you’re a regular and like what we do, please feel free to make a donation to offset our running expenses by clicking the Donate box near the top right of our Home Page.
Have a great 2015, everybody – keep reading, keep rocking, and keep up your feedback as we look forward to an even bigger year coming up!
Whether you’ll be listening to Christmas albums by Johnny Cash or Twisted Sister, Billy Idol or Kim Wilde, Ringo Starr, Brian Setzer, The Trans-Siberian Orchestra or, errrrr, John Denver with the Muppets (!!), we hope you’ll have a great time with family and/or friends, and keep the SPIRIT of Christmas foremost in your minds – whatever your religious beliefs.
