Techno isn’t my thing, but if you throw a killer drumbeat guitar riffs underneath the track, you will catch my attention, just as 9ELECTRIC did on their latest effort. “Time Bomb” comes out of the gate with great riffs and a heavy bottom end. The vocals mix well with the loop tracks and the rest of the band. This track gives the disc a great base. “Bullet Tooth” is another song that comes out swinging, thanks to the cool contrast between the vocals from Thunderwood and guest vocalist Heidi Shepherd from Butcher Babies. The rest of the track supplies a cool background for the edgy duet. “Feel This” has a different feel to it, when the vocals seem a bit deeper and heavier in the mix. The guitars come through the chorus and give the song an added depth. “Goodbye” is a decent blend of the other tracks on the disc, with a heavier reliance on the rhythm section, as the drums and bass figure bigger in the mix, especially during the chorus and bridge. “Under Attack” sounds like a Zombie-Powerman5000 hybrid, with raspy vocals that accompany the chugging guitar, thumping bass, and the aggressive drumming. “Control” closes the disc with a sound that spins more dimension into the bands sound and feel. The song blends all the things the band does well and piles it into one well done track.
