’40th Anniversary of Australian Rock’ – ONE SHOW ONLY
’40th Anniversary of Australian Rock’ – ONE SHOW ONLY
It’s been 40 years since the high voltage rock rebellion began in Australia, with iconic bands AC/DC & The Angels. Bon Scott and Doc Neeson ruled as the frontmen to ‘new’ Alberts signed bands AC/DC and The Keystone Angels. To celebrate this era, members of these bands are getting together for one show only to perform the anthems of a time when rock ruled.
AC/DC and The Angels members Mark Evans (Ex AC/DC), Bob Spencer (The Angels/Skyhooks), James Morley (The Angels), Jim Hilbun (The Angels), Yak Sheritt (Jimmy Barnes/Diesel), Chris Murphy (Australian Idol) and Skenie (The Poor) will rock their way through over two hours of ‘on eleven’ Australian Rock.
The show also falls on what would have been Bon Scotts 68th birthday. In light of this, The 2 part show features a tribute to the “Bon Scott” era of AC/DC classics, along with a back catalogue of Angels hits to start the show.
You won’t get to see or hear this monster event, anywhere else in WA except on Saturday July 5 at the Charles Hotel, Perth. This is as close as it gets to the “Real Deal”, as the songs are played by the guys who were in the bands.
