Daisys Quest by Jodie Wells-Slowgrove book cover

The first in Jodie Wells-Slowgrove’s Wilderness Fairies series, Daisy’s Quest introduces us to young, wingless fairy Daisy, who gets sent on a quest to earn her fairy wings. Along the way she encounters obstacles, makes friends and learns more than she realises about herself, and what makes a fairy brave and special.

Tia, aged 6, found Daisy’s adventure amazing, one that she could imagine going on herself. Daisy and her pet beetle Vu were amazing characters who shared their doubts and fears and worked together to overcome them. She especially liked it when Daisy helped another fairy in trouble, and when the Fairy Queen awarded Daisy her wings.

Daisy’s Quest is a delightful story that will captivate children’s imaginations, and it’s great to see a series like this set in the Australian bush, featuring local flora and fauna.
