Like a lot of NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal – you know that by now, right? I don’t need to write it out all the way every time any more? Okay, cool.) bands in that heady 1979-1982 period, nowadays they sound like hard or heavy rock, or in the case of Fist, a heavy boogie bar band.

Not knocking them in any way, mind you – this is thoroughly enjoyable stuff and despite the clichéd studded-leather-wristbanded-fist-punching-a-face cover, there’s some really good rock n’ roll on this record.

Best bits: All I Can Do and S S Giro, both feature smarter-than-the-average-bear lyrics and some grooving boogie metal.
