Washington, DC quartet LIONIZE recently completed work on a video for their song “Dr. Livingston”. The song is taken from the band’s latest release Superczar and the Vulture. The video was directed by Agent Ogden (Clutch, Primus) and features guest appearances from Jess Margera of CKY, Pietasters, H.R. of Bad Brains and the crew from the 9:30 Club. CRAVE ONLINE is hosting an exclusive premiere of the video HERE.

The band commented on the video: “We are looking forward to sharing our second music video ever for Dr. Livingston from the Superczar album. We felt honored to have our friends HR, Jess Margera, the 930 staff and the pie tasters take part in this. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed making it.”

LIONIZE will return to the road this March alongside Maryland rockers Clutch. The first leg of the tour will also feature Orange Goblin and Scorpion Child and kicks off March 8th in Cincinnati, OH. The second leg of the tour sees LIONIZE alongside Clutch and The Sword. Those dates begin May 1st in Richmond, VA. A complete list of shows can be found below.

For a band with so little pretense, sometimes it can be easy to forget just how much LIONIZE accomplished since their inception in 2004. From being the first band to play both Bonnaroo and the Vans Warped Tour in the same year to their five full-length albums to virtually non-stop touring year after year, the groove-heavy rock group has dared to do more than most bands could ever hope to accomplish. On the release of their most recent album, Superczar and the Vulture, produced by the famed J. Robbins, the band showcases their live sound in a way that they have never done before, allowing the listener an unprecedented look at the experience of hearing the songs played live in front of them.
