Austin Mahone to appear on Today Show


Austin Mahone has announced that his television debut of top charting single, “What About Love,” will take place on the Today Show Plaza on Monday, June 10th. Amidst tour stops on Taylor Swift’s Red Tour, and a highly visible and coveted presenter spot on this weekend’s 2013 Billboard Music Awards, the pop sensation announced, “What About Love,” his first official single off of his highly anticipated debut album (due fall 2013).  Since making the single available for pre-sale, Austin has skyrocketed to the top ten on iTunes Pop Charts.  Not one to slow down, the singer made this latest HUGE announcement, his first television performance of “What About Love” on the Today Show, to fans via twitter.  Fans can come down to see Austin LIVE IN CONCERT when he takes the stage in the middle of the plaza on MONDAY JUNE 10th to celebrate the single release in style.

Fans can go to to pre-order the single on iTunes now, prior to its June 10th release.

“This means so much to me!!!” says Austin Mahone on his twitter, last Saturday.   “This is the first single from my album!!  Wow I can’t believe it…Thank you all of you!!”

In less than 24 hours the single jumped to top 10 on the iTunes Pop Music Charts. Fans have been clamoring for new music and news of Austin’s impending album and came out in force to show their excitement. They reacted with excitement pushing their favorite teen heartthrob right up the iTunes Pop Music Charts!

At just 17 years old, singer/songwriter Austin Mahone is poised for stardom.  Storming the scene, Austin was one of a select few presenters at this weekend’s Billboard Music Awards where he presented “Best EDM Artist” alongside singer Kelly Rowland.  Mahone also recently opened at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards and took home his first RDM award for the “Ultimate Breakout Star – Biggest Viral Artist.” Mahone continues his massive online presence with his recent music video for original song, “Heart in My Hand,” garnered more than 2.8 million views, following other viral successes like Mahone’s first original single, “11:11” and smash hit, “Say Somethin.” With well over 120 million YouTube views (and almost 1 million YouTube subscribers), well over 2.6 million Facebook fans and more than 2.6 million Twitter followers, Austin’s fanbase is strong and growing every day.  Fans known as “Mahomies,” have consistently supported the pop sensation in force.
