[New York, NY – April 19, 2013] – Fresh from a captivating performance on NBC’s Saturday Night LiveGrammy-Award winner Miguel has released the official music video for “How Many Drinks?” featuring hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar today on The performance shot video was directed by Clark Jackson (aka Constellation Jones) and captured last month in Los Angeles, CA.

Penned by Miguel and produced by Salaam Remi, “How Many Drinks?” is the third single from the genre-bending Kaleidoscope Dream which debuted at #1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart and entered at #3 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Digital Albums charts.

Miguel, along with RCA Records label mate’s Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, is also included in this year’s TIME magazine’s 10th annual “100 issue.” The issue highlights the magazine’s 100 most influential artists, leaders, pioneers, titans and icons from around the world.

Attesting to his groundbreaking sophomore album, fueled by his hit single “Adorn,” Miguel is being acknowledged by this year’s Billboard Music Awards. He is set to perform and is also nominated for the fan-driven “Milestone Award,” presented by Chevrolet. The award recognizes hitmakers who have showcased creative spirit and skill this past year. Comedian Tracy Morgan will host the awards live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 19th and will be televised on ABC at 8/7c.

Signed to Mark Pitts’ ByStorm imprint in 2007, Miguel’s progressive 2010 debut album All I Want Is You, spawned two #1 hit singles – “Quickie” and “Sure Thing,” as well as the album title track. While his debut album earned him unanimous praise, his current release, Kaleidoscope Dream takes him down a new path of musical exploration with ground breaking, cutting edge precision. The album peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and Top Digital album charts and includes the addictive “Adorn.” The song currently holds the record for maintaining the #1 spot on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart for 22 consecutive weeks and received a 2013 Grammy Award for “Best R&B Song.” Miguel, recipient of the 2012 “Best R&B/Soul Male Artist” Soul Train Award, is currently trailblazing the globe as the supporting act on Alicia Keys’ “Set The World On Fire Tour.”
