Feathers Announce Tour With Little Boots / New Album Release Date
April 3, 2013 – New York, NY – After a massively successful SXSW where they opened for their heroes Depeche Mode, Austin, TX four-piece Feathers will serve as support to Little Boots on their upcoming US tour. (Dates listed below) The band will also perform at Filter Magazine’s Pre-Coachella party on April 18th.
Feathers debut album If All Now Here will now arrive in stores on May 28th.

The band lineup features bassist Courtney Voss (Missions), keyboardist Kathleen Carmichael and drummer Jon Minor, as well as alternating members Destiny Montague (Shock Cinema/Midnight Masses) and Alex Gehring (Ringo Deathstarr). What people are saying about Feathers:
“Charming all who stumbled across them, their industrial-tinged synth sound might go directly against music’s current psychedelic love-in but that just makes them all the more crisp and refreshing.” – NME
“If All Now Here” a shimmering tribute to night-staking heroes like the Cure and Depeche Mode.” – – Entertainment Weekly
“Pulsing synths and siren-song harmonies” – BrooklynVegan.com
“Feathers channeled the “Personal Jesus” electro-blues stomp of Depeche Mode…” – Chicago Tribune
“But in a night dedicated to discovery, at least for this reporter, one of the most accessible was Austin-based Feathers. Singer Anastasia Dimou always seemed to be attempting to conjure a mood, waving the audience to her and then pushing them away as if the stage was something she was floating on.” – Los Angeles Times
“Land of the Innocent, the debut single, neatly expresses Feathers’ desire to combine a dystopian future-world aesthetic with a pop sensibility and rhythms tough enough to pass muster in the realm of the industrial… makes you wonder why there hasn’t been such an all-female group before.” – The Guardian
“Led by NYC transplant Anastasia Dimou, Feathers’ goth-hued electro thrives in the era of New Order and Depeche Mode, brought to life by a cast of heavy hitters, including a mix by Steven DePalo, who’s worked with fellow dark wave synths Cold Cave.” – Austin Chronicle
“Feathers, whose synth-packed debut track ‘Land Of The Innocent’ is TOTAL heaven.” – In Style Magazine
