Alice Russell to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Britain’s best kept secret, the undeniably talented Alice Russell will be kicking off her highly anticipated US tour with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. This will be Alice’s debut US TV performance and is scheduled to air on Wednesday May 1st 2013 on ABC at 11:35 pm/10:35 pm CT, she will be previewing tracks off of her soon-to-be released new album ‘To Dust’
Following her national TV performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Alice will be dropping by the KCRW studios with her band The Park to perform new tracks on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.
Alice’s forthcoming US tour is to celebrate the release of her fifth studio album ‘To Dust’ (set for release April 30th 2013 on Tru Thoughts/Caroline), she’ll be hitting San Francisco on May 3rd to perform at the Mezzanine, then shooting through to LA where she’ll be performing at the First Unitarian Church before landing in Seattle on May 7th, Washington D.C on May 9th and ending her tour in New York on May 12th at Le Poisson Rouge.
An enviable live performer and recording artist Alice has fascinated and endeared a major league of extraordinary supporters; Gilles Peterson, David Byrne, Dennis Coffey, Massive Attack’s Daddy G, Groove Armada and ?uestlove (amongst many others) and she is sure to enlist many more on this tour.
