Better Left Unsaid With Epochal Artists Records For The Release Of Self-Titled Album This Spring
Modesto, CA’s Better Left Unsaid have signed with Epochal Artists Records/Capital Music Group for the release of their upcoming new self-titled album this spring through the label. The group’s new album was recorded in Riverbank, CA at ProView Studios with Producer Adam Ruppel (Systematic).
“We’re excited to be a part of Epochal Artists Records and have them release our new album. EAR have a great roster of bands and they truly believe in artist development, which is rare in today’s marketplace,” said Brent Terry from Better Left Unsaid. “Our new record is a culmination of a two year quest to define a sound that pulls from the band’s earliest influences. We tried to stay away from the current trends in metal, so we could create an album that was true to ourselves, dark and organic.”
Better Left Unsaid have been making noise within the underground metal world and caught the ear of Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta who signed the band to his own label, Stillborn Records, for the release of their debut album “The Fight Within” in 2008. The group combine influences ranging from the thrash of Testament, the grooves of Pantera and the sheer attack of Machine Head into a modern metal sound that stands tall beside the likes of Threat Signal, Soilwork and Meshuggah. The band has relentlessly toured across the country and in 2011 the group’s persistence paid off when they were offered more than 50 shows opening the Hed to Head Tour II alongside (Hed)p.e. and Mushroomhead.
