The original release and versions hit my Top 25 for 2012, so the remix disc is bound to be good. I think the component I most loved about the originals was the rock component. I enjoyed hearing the guitar work and solos, the pounding rhythm section, and the killer rock vocals. This remix disc has most of what I loved. The guitars have been replaced with keyboards, synthesizers and samples. A couple of the tracks even have a dub-step or club feel to them. That isn’t a bad thing, just different. I like this collection and will most likely throw it on at a party, but I have to say, I miss the guitars. Some of these songs were meant to rock out. They set out to add depth and another dimension to the mixes. Congrats TFK, you did exactly what you set out to do without dismantling the tracks or ruining them.
The tracks they chose to have remixed are: War Of Change – Light Up The Sky – Let The Sparks Fly – We Are – I Get Wicked
