Forever The Sickest Kids‘ cover of Rihanna‘s “We Found Love” has premiered today via CBS Local sites, including Los Angeles’ KROQ, San Francisco’s Live 105, and Las Vegas’ X107.5.
The track is a part of Punk Goes Pop 5, the latest installment in Fearless Records’ celebrated compilation series. Punk Goes Pop 5 is set for release November 6th, and is now available for physical pre-order on MerchNow, and digitally on iTunes.
“When given the opportunity to work on another Punk Goes… series, we wanted to record a female artists’ song, and create a rock band version,” explains Forever The Sickest Kids vocalist Jonathan Cook. “After narrowing it down, we felt like we had no other option than this amazing Rihanna song!”
Now seasoned veterans of the Punk Goes… series, the Dallas, TX quartet’s covers can be found on Punk Goes Crunk with their version “Men In Black” by Will Smith, and on Punk Goes Classic Rock with their rendition of “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne. The most recent signing to Fearless Records, Forever The Sickest Kids plan to release their new album in 2013.
