The Loving and Losing tour rolled into The Beacham on June 25, 2025, delivering a lineup packed with four distinct acts. The night kicked off with Nightlife, who blended soul, R&B, and post-hardcore into something fresh and engaging. Their set featured groovy basslines and powerful vocals that carried a lot of weight, creating a vibe that was both smooth and intense. They shifted effortlessly between high-energy moments and quieter, more emotional passages that kept everyone hooked. Next up was Vana, whose punchy alt-rock hit with gritty guitars and vocals that carried a rough edge. Tracks like “Lie” stood out thanks to their driving rhythms and catchy hooks. A highlight was when the singer stepped down from the stage, getting close to the crowd and sharing her energy in a way that really connected. The band’s chemistry came through loud and clear, making their performance feel alive and compelling. Then came Daisy Grenade, who turned up the volume with their energetic emo-pop. They played fan favorites like “Riot” and “King For A Day,” getting the crowd fully involved. Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittakker’s playful presence and theatrical style made it obvious they were enjoying themselves just as much as the audience. Their set was packed with attitude, sparkle, and catchy tunes that kept everyone locked in from start to finish.

When Honey Revenge finally took over the stage, the room’s energy shifted into overdrive. Devin Papadol and Donovan Lloyd expertly mixed bright, nostalgic pop-rock with modern hooks that felt fresh and familiar all at once. Their set balanced older hits with newer material, giving both longtime fans and first-timers plenty to enjoy. Devin shared heartfelt stories between songs, opening up about her father’s passing and how it inspired some of their music. Her honesty added an emotional depth that resonated throughout the show. Crowd favorites like “Rerun” and “Are You Impressed?” had everyone singing along, but it was the closing track, “Airhead,” that truly ignited the crowd. That one’s my personal favorite. I found myself jumping and singing along, camera gear in tow, completely swept up in the moment. Devin’s vocals cut through with clarity and personality, while Donovan’s guitar work gave each song an edge that kept things exciting. They balanced energetic anthems with more reflective tunes, maintaining a strong flow that held the audience’s attention from start to finish. It was clear these two have something special, a perfect blend of fun, heart, and undeniable charm. Despite the heat and limited airflow, the crowd stayed energized and having a great time all night. I noticed the water and cups were set behind the barricade, out of reach of the concertgoers. So during the breaks between bands, I handed out water to anyone who needed it. It felt important to make sure everyone stayed safe and hydrated, something that shouldn’t be overlooked at shows like this. At the end of the day, with performances this strong, especially Honey Revenge’s heartfelt and high-energy set, the sweat and heat were easy to forget. Shows like this are what keep me coming back: great music, real connection, and unforgettable nights.
