Primarily a collection of Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood’s behind the veil photos of his travels and recording with the world’s biggest art rock band, How To Disappear is a strange beast: it serves as, not a biography, more a rumination on this most enigmatic and individualistic outfit – or at least, being IN this most enigmatic and individualistic outfit.’

Greenwood’s thoughts are not linear here, but they are fascinating, and like the band’s musical work they follow no pre-defined rules or previously accepted structure.

His chapters of musings cover grounds such as his interest in photography, tour life and establishing their own studio, while the pics span roughly 2003 to 2018.

Both words and photos are engrossing – a peek into the life of a truly unique band and a joy to find them with their guards down and, often, deep in their creative process.
