Cold War kids got straight to the point as soon as they got onto the stage at Cannery Hall in Nashville, TN with the first three songs being “Love Is A Miracle,” “Run Away With Me,” and “Miracle Mile.” This was the first time in a few years that they had made a Nashville stop and the fans were ready for it. This tour was in celebration of their 20th Anniversary. This set was really the best of the best from their entire catalog. So many amazing songs to choose from. The room was at capacity and highly enthused for the evening. The entire set was energetic and even though it was a smallish stage they never missed a beat and just flowed around the space. At the end of the performance the band lined up on the front of the stage and took a bow and graciously thanked everyone for their support over the years. Cold War Kids ultimately played a 20 song set; which is a great sign of a band that absolutely loves what they do. I could have enjoyed another hour but the evening was already stretching thing and  overall the show was already packed to the gills with great music. You should definitely try and catch them live.  This was the first time I had ever been able to see them perform even though I had been a fan for years. I will absolutely make it a point to catch them the next time I’m able.
