BLUES AT BRIDGETOWN THIRD ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT
BLUES AT BRIDGETOWN THIRD ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT
As we await the dawn of a new springtime, so it is that the 32nd iteration of Blues at Bridgetown draws ever closer for our annual three-day feast of melodies and new memories.
We’re thrilled to announce the third and final artist line-up set to roll into town from Friday-Sunday, November 8-10.
Since winning the Emerging Artist award at Nannup Music Festival in 2020, Sunday Lemonade have created a fizz as the infectious rom-com act of the Australian indie folk scene. Loz & Tys have supported Australian favourites such as 19-Twenty, Thirsty Merc, The Rubens, Ash Grunwald, Steph Strings & the Pierce Brothers amidst multiple nationwide tours, featured on festival lineups alongside Little Georgia, The Bamboos and Tones & I, and most recently taken out the People’s Choice award as a top 10 buskers finalist at Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Like a refreshing glass of your favourite bubbles, nomadic duo Sunday Lemonade are powered by a good story, laughter and connection, evident in their uplifting, energetic performance.
Corey Legge plays heartfelt alt-country, blues and rock, drawing influence from growing up amongst the fertile pastures surrounding Bega, NSW. Now based in Wollongong, Corey has released three albums in three years, resulting in high rotation on ABC Country and a slew of support slots for high profile artists including Fanny Lumsden, Amber Lawrence, Catherine Britt and Ash Grunwald. Corey’s debut single, Driving Out Of Eden, was shared by the legendary James Taylor, adding to the already considerably large buzz around Corey’s music and live show. Corey’s storytelling and guitar prowess are not to be missed.
For a decade The Little Lord Street Band have won over the hearts and minds of music lovers across the country, supporting the likes of Gomez, Justin Townes Earle, The Whitlams, Fanny Lumsden, Ruby Boots, Daniel Champagne and The Living End as well as hundreds of headline shows in between. In 2024 Tash, Jimmy and co. released the band’s second album, Time And Place, a collection of songs that are lush in melody and memory and wistful yet not too world weary. It’s all things that The Little Lord Street Band have been, and everything they are becoming, and they are looking forward to adding Blues at Bridgetown to their festival repertoire.
Prita is immersed in the music scene as a full-time singer/songwriter playing festivals and music venues around Europe and Australia, securing airplay on radio, and reviews in the press internationally; winning songwriting and crowd favourite performance awards in Germany. Prita’s unique sound is ‘hip-soul-folk’. It combines her love of hip-hop, soul and folk with the use of a live loop pedal and effortlessly layering funky urban harmonies, acoustic finger-picking guitar and beat boxing.
